I can't believe that our precious little baby is already ONE year old! He has grown and developed into a clever, beautiful, gregarious, adorable little toddler who has the wonderful ability to put a smile on anyone's face! Words can't express how much we love this little guy!

Daddy took the day off on friday and all we had planned was to spend the day at home, just the four of us, relaxing and having fun together. We had a late start and then spent ages mooching around in our pjs while Nicholas helped Daniel open all his cards and presents. As Nicholas pointed out it looked like Father Christmas had paid us a visit. It's hard not to spoil your kids and he received so many cards and gifts in the post too. Not to mention all the emails, text messages and phone calls. Thanks a mil to all of you for thinking about our little boy on his first birthday ever!

We decided to have a football party for Daniel mainly because he loves balls but also because of the World Cup fever that is in the air at the moment. We held the party at our house on sunday afternoon and invited a handful of our close friends. It was a great success as all the kids, especially Daniel, had an absolute ball. Here's the invitation but you'll have to wait until tomorrow to see the (all) photos.
