You won't believe who we brushed shoulders with today!

There we were enjoying a soft serve on Trafalgar Square, when we thought we saw a couple we recognised, so we moved closer to get a better look. Yes, it was the Prince and the Princess-to-be, standing on a balcony for a pre-wedding press conference. We were extremely excited when they turned around to wave. After a while they disappeared so on we walked and who do you think was standing right next to us at the traffic light, you guessed it, William and Kate. Now wasn't it our lucky day!

This view was fine for us
But then he turned aroundAnd looked at us and wavedThen she also waved
I zoomed in as much as I couldAnd then there they were metres from us
Just like us waiting to cross the road

Muddy fingers

All this sunshine made us decided that it was high time to get stuck into our garden. So on Sunday we prepared all our pots for our veggie seeds and put some flower seeds in our shed's window box. The kids loved all the digging and the watering and the earthworms fascinated them!

Rugby and braai

According to the boys in the house, rugby and a braai make a perfect Saturday, especially if the sun is shining. It was great fun watching Nicholas in action at Rugbytots. Usually it's a dad and son bonding session but since it was the last class of the term Danny and I went to watch. I must say I was very impressed. Nick has also started showing an interest in watching the sports channel with dad especially if it is rugby. He is always full of questions, but then again that isn't unusual!

Dad turns 35!

All Dad wanted for his birthday was to spend a lazy weekend pottering around at home so that is exactly what we did. Of course there had to be a cake with candles and a lot of singing. Nicholas decided that we should make a lemon drizzle cake and let me tell you it was delicious!

The Goose and her Gosling have landed

We love getting visitors and we're delighted that Monique and Tyler have come all the way from South Africa to visit us! Nicholas and Daniel are so excited to have their aunty and cousin here!

Underwater

A couple of weeks ago when we were at swimming I noticed that there was a company doing underwater photography so I leaped at the chance to get some shots of my waterbabies!

Chelsea

Yesterday Nicholas' nursery took the kids on an excursion to Stamford Bridge, the Chelsea Football Stadium, much to Dad's horror. Frank Lampard's kid goes to Peques so they have a contact on the inside. At first I thought it would be meaningless to Nicholas but I didn't want him to miss out so I signed him up. It all had a big impression on him in the end. He's been chanting parts of Chelsea songs all day, asked lots of questions about football and couldn't stop talking about the HUGE stadium with all the blue and white chairs. I wonder what team he'll support one day!
