Daniel's third week

We registered Daniel's birth at the Chelsea and Westminster Town Hall on the 26th June. Lots of people have asked us if he automatically gets a UK passport and the answer is no, only a birth certificate, we've just applied for his SA passport.

Daniel has been getting detailed lessons about all sorts of things, but mostly aeroplanes, from Nicholas. When Big Brother is in the mood he also entertains him with songs, nursery rhymes and stories.

Bath time is going better and better every day. Daniel especially likes soaking in the big bath even if Nicholas is sponging water over his head.

Daniel's favourite burpring position makes us laugh. Sometimes he is so zonked he just passes out.

We've discovered that in addition to on our chests and in our arms Daniel likes sleeping on his tummy and on the couch during the day. Nights are also going a bit better now with a five hour stretch every now and then.

  1. only registered Daniel's birth after 16 days? odd! in holland there's a maximum of 3 days between birth and registration.
otherwise: cool to see nicolas and daniel seem to get along the same as our two boys!
