It was a special celebration for a number reasons: The baptism was held in the church that the Mullin family have been members of as long as we can remember. The ceremony was performed by the same priest that married us. Daniel wore the Roets family christening gown, which is just over 100 years old, also worn by his brother, dad, oupa and groot oupa before him. And last but not least it was a personal family affair just the way we wanted it to be.
We choose Deano and Lana as Daniel's godparents (which makes Janine and Fritjof godparents in-law so the lucky boy gets 4 for the price of 2). And I'm honoured to be little Tyler's godmother and I will try to fulfil my duties to the best of my ability and spoil her accordingly.
