Back in time - Sport

I'm still trying to catch up on photos from June/July.  It was summer here in England and that meant a whole lot of sporting events, activities and outings.  I have resigned myself to the fact that for the rest of my life I will be doing this sort of thing, given that I have two sporty sons.  I'm definitely not complaining!

Back in time - Nick

The big catch up continues.  This next series of posts is also back to June/July but this time for Nicholas as he wraps up with year 1.  One thing we cannot complain about is Nicholas' attitude to school life.  He embraces everything that it throws at him with enthusiasm and determination.  He is like a dream child in that respect!

Back in time - Danny

In my attempt to 'catch up' I'm going back to June/July and the end of the last school year.  I'm not sure if I'll ever succeed but I've got quite a few posts in the pipeline that I'm going to finalise and just post.  So the next series of posts have to do with Danny wrapping things up at his nursery.  It all seems like such a long time ago now!

September and October

Life was busy in September and October.  I have already done a few posts about some of the nice things we did and here are a few more.  Catching up slowly but surely ....

February 2013

The next few posts are about the things we did during the February half term and the weeks before and after that.  One of the things we did during half term was a swimming camp, where Nicholas concentrated on stroke improvement as well as starts and turns.  Daniel knocked the socks off everyone with his deep diving skills to fetch things off the bottom, and everything else really, he was amazing.  All that time in the pool in SA over the xmas holidays paid off big time!

Summer - Overview

We spent the first 2 weeks and the last 1 week of the summer holiday here, on either side of our month-long trip to SA.  You can easily see which photos are from before and which are from after by looking at the boys' hair.  I love holidays and always try and make the most of my time with the boys ... it's special time for sure.  A lot of the things we did were Olympic related which I've already covered in the previous set of posts.  The next 5 posts are all about the other things we did during summer 2012 in England!

Olympics - Overview

Slowly but surely ... I'm catching up!  I have the whole summer holidays and the Christmas holidays to do which includes not one, but two amazing trips to SA.  Not to mention all the other bits and pieces of our daily life.  I'm sure you can imagine how many photos I've got to sort through if you've witnessed me using my camera.  I decided to start off with the Olympics since they were one of the highlights of 2012.  After looking at the photos I realised how we actually maxed out and enjoyed probably what will be a once in a life time experience for us.  The next 5 posts are all about our Olympic experience!

September 2012

The next few posts are of stuff we did in September.  With the mood of the summer holidays still in the air we had a lot of fun and did some of the stuff we didn't get to do before we went to South Africa for August.  It seems so long ago now especially on a day like today when there's frost everywhere and it is zero degrees!

October 2012

I'm catching up slowly but surely.  I can't believe that is already the middle of November and that in one week my eldest will turn 6 and that in one month we'll be on our way to sunny South Africa.  October was a busy but fun month for us.  I've already done a post about all the nice things we did during half term.  Following this are four posts about some of the other things we did in October. Enjoy!
