We were delighted to discover a pair of robins nesting in our hedge. Evidently they have some babies in the nest because they spend the entire day flying back and forth with different things in their beaks. The other day I even saw them chasing a feisty squirrel away. We're looking forward to seeing the chicks when they emerge from the nest!

Lots of different snacks for the chicks
If any of you have spent much time in SW London you will surely have seen, or at least heard, the green parakeets. There are literally thousands of them around and there are loads of different theories about how these feral parrots came to thrive in London. The boys loving spotting them when they hear their calls and I think they add a bit of colour to our life here!
