I feel old!

I've reached a major milestone in my life, 20 years have passed since I was in matric, just saying that makes me feel old. Unfortunately I couldn't make it to the reunion weekend in Kimberley but I did manage to get together for dinner with two of my dearest and oldest friends. I met Marce and Disa when I was 12 years old and we've been good friends ever since.

May also marked the anniversary of Lana and I leaving South Africa to go travelling for a 'few' months. Never in our wildest dreams did we think we would still be on the go 15 years later. Our first stop was Kibbutz Ginosar in Israel, the whole experience coupled with the people we met wet our appetite to keep travelling, and so we did. Even though I'm pretty much settled in London, with my wonderful husband and fantastic boys, my heart is still set on going home to South Africa some day so until I do I guess I can still be classified as a traveller of sorts. Here's a photo of our kibbutz gang on a beach in Sinai.
