SA Part 12: Ballito

We ended off our wonderful 3 month stint in South Africa with a beach holiday in Ballito. It was great unwinding and relaxing together before heading back to London. The resort we stayed in was great. We had a stunning view across the ocean from our balcony, there was a lot of delicious food on offer and it had a lovely pool with steps going down to the beach. The waves were a bit too intimidating for the little ones so we spent most of the time going for walks, building sandcastles and exploring the rock pools. Beach holidays are always great fun for us!


We went on the obligatory trip to uShaka and I must say it was very impressive indeed. Aquariums are always a big hit with our boys. The sharks were, of course, the favourite of all see creatures we saw. And the dolphin show made a big impression too. Going for a rickshaw ride along the promonade added to the excitement. Definitely a good outing for the family!
