Getting ready ...

... to start school!  Danny has to start Reception in September.  They start them young here in England, in the September after their 4th birthday, it's non-negotiable.  Danny still seems too young since he only just turned 4.  Nicholas on the other hand was closer to 5 when he started because his birthday is in November.  Donhead had an induction day for the new boys last week.  Danny was highly excited and basically tackled the headmaster at the entrance.  It is going to be a whole different kettle of fish for him because he is already so familiar with the setting and loads of his classmates from nursery are going to be there too.  It's hard to imagine that my little boy will be at big school soon!
