When we asked Dad what he wanted to do for Father's Day he said 'Nothing'. I figured that since we rarely do nothing it would be a special treat. Nothing for us means staying at home and doing lots of things that we don't usually do. So after a BIG breakfast (followed by Nick's cricket - where Dad sits on his camping chair reading the Sunday paper while watching his boy play cricket - that equates to almost nothing doesn't it?) my three boys played the play station most of the day interrupted only by a bit of reading, a bit of chess, a bike ride, a braai and things like that. All a vital part of doing 'nothing'!
