London's parks come to life in the summer with splash pools and fountains for the children to cool down in. The only problem is that these kinds of spots are usually overcrowded in the holidays. Lucky for us the private schools closed before the state schools so we got to enjoy Wimbledon Park in relative peace a couple of times in the first week of our holidays. The first time we went with one of Danny's swimming friends, Olivia, and her older sister (Nick was still at school that day). Daniel had an absolute ball and couldn't stop talking about it!
