Camping in Devon
We decided to go camping with the Jacksons for the long weekend. We chose a farm in the Exmoor National Park in Devon. Unfortunately it was just about the only place in England where it rained just about all weekend. The cold and wet weather did not dampen our spirits though. We kept Daniel cosy so he seemed to enjoy himself. Nicholas had a ball and loved absolutely everything: our new palace of a tent, his sleeping bag, his torch, his wellies, his raincoat, the mud, the river, the dam, the animals, the tractors, sitting around the fire and all the mini adventures we went on. We even did a bit of tourism to some picturesque little villages along the coast nearby. All in all our first 'real' camping experience was a great success despite the weather. We're already planning a few trips for next summer.

Nicholas must watch out for Noa ... she would steal that little Bee rain coat if she had to see it! ... she is obsessed with her little bee hat, the rain coat would definitely complete the picture! Looked like fun. Mud + Kids = FUN!
