Legoland

Places like Legoland are a special treat for us, so we thought we'd take Monique and Tyler to see it on their last day here. The park is divided up into different themes which creates a lot of mystique and excitement. Nicholas really enjoyed keeping track of where we were on the map and deciding where to go to next. I loved the way he tried to explain it all to his enthusiastic little brother!

Miniland is one of my favourite parts of the park. Amazing to think that it is all built out of lego bricks. It was fun seeing some of the places that we recognised. There was even a royal wedding at Buckingham Palace. Nicholas was very excited about trying to find the Where's Wally characters in all the displays!

The other part of the park is full of amazing rides. One of the boys' favourite rides was the boat on fairy tale brook. It was quite a sedate ride so right up my alley. Nicholas and Phillippa did do some more adventurous rides with the other adults. It's great to see him getting braver!

It's easy to forget that the different things you see are actually built out of lego bricks. It's quite inspirational actually. Here are some of the fun things we saw during our adventure. Next time we'll have to go earlier, stay for longer and get a q-bot!
