Summer - Museums

We always enjoy a trip to Natural History Museum in the holidays.  As Danny pointed out, the Hills make perfect company because Ernie is his friend, Olivia is Nick's friend and Ellie is Mom's friend.  We went to our usual favourite parts of the museum like the dinosaurs, mammals and volcanoes / earthquakes.  This time we also explored some different areas where we found the worlds biggest (and therefore oldest) tree trunk, and a meteorite.  We also took a closer look at some of the temporary displays like animals inside out and photographer of the year.  The biggest discovery of the day was a mezzanine level, which we usually missed because we had a pram with us, where we found a whole display on the solar system.  No prizes for the guessing where we're heading first when we go again!
