Forest School - Summer Term

Forest School still keeps surprising us with new ideas. Daniel loves it especially since so many of his little friends also attend. He really likes being outside and the forest is one of his favourite places. He participates wholeheartedly now that he understands more about what we do there. And I enjoy it too which is great!

Bug Hotel

The last activity for the term involved getting the piths out of some elderflower sticks and tying a whole bunch of sticks together with an elastic band and hiding it under some leaves next to a tree trunk in the forest. The idea is that when we go back next term we'll go and find the bunches of sticks and see what bugs came to visit the bug hotel over the summer. Cute idea!
