As usual we had great fun preparing for the party in the week leading up to Daniel's birthday. Creating a kids' party is definitely one of my all time favourite hobbies. It's fun picking a theme and making everything tie in with it. For Daniel's 2nd birthday we decided to do a helicopter party. 'Helicopter' was one of his first words, he thinks he is very smart doing sign language for helicopter and he gets filled with delight whenever he sees a helicopter so we thought it was the perfect choice!
