Midsummer

I can't believe that it is July already and that the days are already getting shorter. One thing that I really love about this country is the long evenings during the summer months. It's hard to convince the kids that it's bed time but in all other respects it's awesome. These photos were taken just after the summer solstice on the 26th of June. It was a lovely hot day - probably the hottest so far this summer. Would you believe that it was 8pm and the sun was still shining brightly!
