This isn't his first medal but all the others are for participation and not really performance. This one was for the Reception boy who came first in the 5km category. So it definitely trumps the rest!

Gold Medal
Today in assembly Nicholas got a gold medal for his performance in the fun run. The excitement and pride was written all over his face when I went to collect him from school. And mine too I suspect. He also got a £20 gift voucher from the sports shop as a prize!
